Photoshop,
web design
Here are a few websites I found to get some tips and tutorials on making web layouts.
 |
A lot of tutorials of different graphic styles
coming from many sources and websites. |
 |
Theme-based layouts.
You will also find the tutorials to convert
your PSD template in a CSS/HTML document |
|
A compilation of good tutorials.
Some of them you will find in the websites I listed earlier. |
 |
The design is beautiful, but I’m not quite sure of the practicality of the method… The tutorial could be used for any other printed document or just a desktop background! |

Photoshop
If you have a large photo you need much smaller, here’s a helpful hint so you won’t loose so much definition and quality durong the process.
Open your image and just reduce it to half the size it is, as many times you need until you reach the desired size.
Lets say its 1600 by 1200 pixels large. Change the image size to 800 x 600 (IMAGE – IMAGE SIZE – don’t change the resolution. Only the size in pixels).
Reduce it in half again, to 400 x 300. You can do this another time to get a small thumbnail…
Nice tip for web graphics
